Why choose our practice

1

We've done our own work

Would you ever want to work with a therapist who hasn't done their own emotional work? We wouldn't. And so we only hire clinicians who have to ensure confidence in the process for our clients.

2

We're depth-oriented

We're not a short-term, fix-you-in-six-weeks kind of practice. We want long term change and real healing. And that takes time. So we work very hard to help you get to the actual roots of your issues.

3

We don't stop learning

Our whole clinical team participates in quarterly trainings and monthly consultation group to ensure we remain relevant, informed and excellent in our psychotherapeutic care for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does therapy cost?

Our rates vary depending on the therapist's level of licensure. Sessions with our associates are priced between $100 and $150, while sessions with licensed therapists range from $150 to $225 per session.

Can I use my insurance?

We are considered "Out-Of-Network" providers, which means we do not accept any insurance directly. We've made the decision to work directly with our clients regarding payment, and they are very satisfied with this arrangement.

If you would still like to use your insurance, then you can potentially do so if your insurance plan has “Out-Of-Network” benefits. The way that would work is, you would pay for therapy at the time of the session, and then we will provide you with a “superbill” that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

We recommend calling your insurance company to confirm if your insurance policy has OON benefits for mental health services.

Otherwise you can choose to see us privately and not involve your insurance at all. See why many of our clients choose this option below.

Why would I choose to pay privately instead of using my insurance benefits?

Most of our clients actually prefer to work with us privately and not involve their insurance at all. This is because in order to use your insurance for counseling, a mental health diagnosis is required, and this gets attached to your record. If your challenges don’t meet the threshold of a diagnosis, then insurance companies can choose not to cover your therapy.

Insurance can put limitations on the number of counseling sessions you can have, prior to truly completing the process.
An insurance company has a right to call the therapist and ask how sessions are going
At any point they can say that therapy is no longer medically necessary and cancel the coverage

If you have more questions about this, or have questions about finding your OON benefits and would like to discuss, then we recommend reaching out to us page and we'd be happy to answer any questions.

How long are therapy sessions?

Therapy sessions typically last 50 minutes to one hour, although the duration may vary depending on individual needs and therapist availability. Your therapist will discuss session length and frequency with you during your initial appointment.

What types of therapy do you offer?

We offer a comprehensive range of therapy services including individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, and group therapy. Our therapists are trained in various modalities to address a wide range of concerns and issues.
