About me
I am interested in your story – what you have experienced in the past, your current understanding of yourself, and your hopes for the future. I believe that the journey to healing starts from being fully known and fully loved for who you are. This is why I am dedicated to creating a space for you where you can be yourself freely without judgment with a person who understands, sees, and cares about you.
My therapy approach is relational, psychodynamic, and attachment-based. This looks like working together to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, make connections to what has shaped you in the past, and gain insight as you journey toward healing. I specialize in working with individuals who are experiencing difficulties connecting with loved ones, depression, and chronic shame. I also work with couples that feel stuck and seem to find themselves fighting about the same issues over and over again.
As an Asian American immigrant woman and person of faith, I also understand the nuances of immigrant family life as well the complexities of Church and faith. I believe that each and every one of us were created not to just survive but thrive in life. I would be honored to help you experience healing, greater intimacy with loved ones, and break free from patterns that keep you stuck.
